This 1-day hands-on course is designed to provide students with the foundation, skills and techniques of Thai Herbal Compress massage. This form of Thai ancient, therapuetic Massage blends the profound benefits of thermal heat, aromatics, healing herbs and acupressure.
A Thai herbal Compress is a steamed cotton bundle filled with aromatic, healing herbs. When applied hot to the body, it delivers deep relaxation, pain relief and tissue restoration through thermal heat, herbal absorption and rhythmic pressure.
The heat penetrates the pores, the skin becomes heated, and blood flow is stimulated resulting in a rapid rebuilding and nourishing of the body’s tissues. The herbs hold the heat from the steam to deeply penetrate & relax the muscles.
